Located on Uttarkashi Gangotri Road, a place called Bhatwari leads to this beautiful meadow. Trekking here has to cover a distance of about 8 kilometers.

By Train: Haridwar, Rishikesh, & Dehradun Railway Stations are the nearest railway stations to Uttarkashi which is around 200 km approx. From here one can take a Bus or Taxi to reach Uttarkashi.
By Road: State transport buses run regularly between Uttarkashi and Rishikesh/Dehradun. Buses of State Transport and of many local transport companies operate regularly between Uttarkashi and Dehradun (200 km), Haridwar (250 km). Dayara Bugyal is 30 Km by road from Uttarkashi to Bhatwari/Raithal.
